This meeting between the Mission Authorities and the Ministry of Education was aimed at presenting the Memorandum of Understanding from FCCMSM to the Education Minister. The MOU was signed by all 25 Mission Authorities which owned the Christian Mission Schools in Malaysia and which sought a document in recognition of the sanctity of ownership and rights of mission schools. A cordial discussion ensued whereby Minister YB Dato’ Seri Mahdzir bin Khalid assigned the Director-General Tan Sri Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof to have follow-up meetings with FCCMSM to produce a circular/guidelines or Surat Pekeliling Ikhtisas. This document is yet to be seen even up to the retirement of Tan Sri Dr Khair.
